Ian McKee is the Head of Communications at ChargeUK, the voice of the UK’s EV charging sector. ChargeUK represents charge point operators and the wider EV charging ecosystem, its members run over two thirds of the UK’s public network. Ian leads the organisation’s external communications and content strategy, ensuring ChargeUK’s messaging is clear, impactful, and aligned with its mission to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. With 18 years of experience in communications Ian has worked with organisations across a wide array of sectors from travel to tech and FMCG to sustainability. Prior to ChargeUK he spent over seven years at Good Energy where he led the renewable energy company’s consumer, business, policymaker, and investor communications. In this role he also worked closely with Good Energy investment Zapmap, the helping to evolve their communications about public EV charging.
