Valeo and Virta partner for integrated charging solution
04/02/2025
Valeo, a global leader in automotive technology and electrification, has announced a strategic partnership with Virta, a technology company specialising in smart EV charging services.

The collaboration aims to integrate Valeo’s Ineez charging solutions with Virta’s Charge Point Management System (CPMS) to optimise EV charging and energy management for professional users.
At the upcoming Flotauto Show on February 6th, Valeo and Virta will officialise their partnership aimed at strengthening their positions in the expanding electric vehicle and energy management ecosystem by integrating their technologies.
The partnership will leverage Valeo’s expertise in electrification systems and Virta’s innovative charging platform, which is used across 36 countries in Europe and South-East Asia. By integrating Valeo’s Ineez chargers into Virta’s CPMS, the collaboration seeks to provide efficient and reliable charging management for automakers, fleet operators, leasing companies, charging service providers, and other commercial and industrial stakeholders.
Isabelle D’Ambrosio, Valeo VP of Smart Mobility, emphasised the significance of the partnership, stating: “Valeo is at the forefront of the electrification of mobility. We are proud to announce the partnership between Virta and Valeo. It will contribute to enhancing the Valeo Ineez’s offer with seamless and integrated solutions and thus put the customer experience even more at the heart of our priorities. This is another proof of Valeo’s commitment to offering the latest technologies for more sustainable mobility.”
Jussi Palola, chief innovation officer at Virta, highlighted the transformative potential of the collaboration, saying: “Valeo, Virta, and our partners are uniquely positioned on a global scale to advance the integration of cars, charging infrastructure and energy systems enabling seamless interactions for users. Together our innovative solutions enhance the charging experience and position EVs as an integral yet mobile part of the energy ecosystem.”
Beyond enhancing charging efficiency, the partnership is set to contribute to the development of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology. This innovation would allow electric vehicles not only to draw energy from the grid but also to release surplus energy back, helping balance supply and demand while maximizing the value of EV ownership.
